Tom Forster, 44, is from Alabama and this is his first complete short story/fan fiction. He was inspired by the original story, Brokeback Mountain, by E. Annie Proulx - and the movie by the same name,  screenplay written by Diana Ossana and Larry McMurtry and directed by Ang Lee. Forster felt that the lonely, stoic character of Ennis Del Mar deserved some hope - and decided to write a sequel to the original work to provide closure for Ennis - but mostly for himself.
