Lee Mariner
I was born 10:12AM... June 19, 1931 in a one bedroom apartment on Mary St. in Covington, Kentucky. A doctor, midwife and my father were the caregivers at that time.

Sometime between my entrance into the world, and the birth of my brother on March 28, 1933, my parents moved from Covington to Cincinnati, Ohio. The depression was in full swing and my Dad held a job as an usher at the RKO Albee theater in downtown Cincinnati earning $7.00 per week and my Mother had a part-time job as a clerk in an F. W.Woolworth Store also in downtown Cincinnati.

For reasons that I've never known, my parents divorced in 1939. My Father remarried in May 1941 to whom we were told was our baby-sitter. (??) Our Mother had re-located to Chicago, Ill.

The years from 1939 until 1947 were a blur not easily recalled. I joined the U.S. Navy in November 1947 making it my career until I retired in May of 1977.

I met my partner, Robert, in June of 1966 and we have been together ever since that, the most eventful day in my life.

My writing career started sometime in 2001 and, I've been hopefully producing better material since that time.
